Accessibility Statement

Natowa Digital Services is committed to making its websites and digital services accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

Last updated: 27 June 2026

This statement applies to all websites and online services operated by Natowa Digital Services, including nds.gov.nw, wiki.natowa.org, and natowa.org.

Our Commitment

Natowa Digital Services strives to ensure that all of its digital services meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We believe that everyone should be able to access government-operated digital services regardless of ability or the technology they use.

Accessibility is considered at every stage of the development and maintenance of NDS web properties.

Conformance Status

NDS websites are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some content may not fully meet all of the standard's success criteria. We are actively working to identify and resolve any gaps.

Technical Specifications

The accessibility of NDS websites relies on the following technologies:

  • HTML5
  • CSS
  • WAI-ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications)
  • JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards applied.

Known Limitations

While we aim for full accessibility, some older content and third-party embedded materials may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. We are working to resolve known issues on a priority basis.

If you encounter a specific accessibility barrier on any NDS website, please report it using the contact details below.

Assistive Technology Support

NDS websites are designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen readers (including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver)
  • Keyboard-only navigation
  • Browser zoom and text resizing
  • High-contrast display modes
